"Let's live significantly!" Audiences are ignited to do just that when Sharon Norris Elliott speaks, uniquely pairing her engaging sense of humor with her deep understanding of Biblical truth. When her pastor once asked her to explain her passion, she answered, "I want my life to count for God." That passion drives the teaching and encouragement Sharon brings to your event because not only does she want her life to count, she will inspire your group to live lives that make a difference as well. Her aim is always to see others mature in their walk with the Lord. Sharon says, "No pretending, no pretense. I am real and honest about myself and my faith; doing my best to follow Christ as a flawed yet forgiven soul, so others can see what life with Christ in our present day is really all about."
Sharon's talents as a gifted communicator are evident as she ministers to women's and teen's groups, singles' gatherings, corporate workshops, conferences, and special church services. Her prepared topics are appropriate for many functions and God uses her messages to challenge, convict, and encourage anyone who attends your program, seminar, retreat, breakfast, luncheon, advance, or even a mother/daughter tea. Sharon is also able to tailor a message to fit your program's theme and the specific needs of your organization.
Sharon is a graduate of Biola University, now pursuing her Master of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. She's a Christian educator, conference speaker, composer, editor and award-winning published author of 10 books and counting. Sharon has taught high school for over 30 years and currently serves on the distinguished faculty of Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, CA. She has been writing and speaking professionally since 1991. Sharon and her husband James are enjoying their blessings in their empty nest as they continue to love, pray for, and parent-from-afar their children and grandchildren.
Power Suit: The Armor of God Fit for the Feminine Frame
Take a totally new look at the armor of God. Power Suit redefines the masculine image of the armor for today’s woman who understands more about corporate executives and financial reports than about corporals and foxholes. Power Suit takes the armor from camouflage to pinstripe and helps you identify and overcome spiritual battles that rage in your everyday life. Through this study of Ephesians 6:10–20 you will discover the importance of the armor of God, recognize how righteous living protects your heart, learn to detect Satan’s tactics aimed at weakening your faith, realize the true meaning and power of grace, and learn to use the Word of God effectively.
Living a Milk & Honey Life
This Christian journey is not what you dreamed it would be. When you signed up to have your sins forgiven and escape hell, you figured, "Now I've got it made." But life is not turning out as you expected. Well, you are not alone. This message or weekend retreat examines the parallels between your life and that of the Israelites as they journeyed from their bondage in Egypt to their full deliverance in the Promised Land. Come away from this experience with a better grasp of why you are where you are in life, and what you can do to be released into the milk and honey life God has for you.
Raising Boys To Be Like Jesus
High-school teacher and mother of two boys of her own, Sharon exhorts parents and caregivers to choose Jesus as the ultimate male role model for their sons. Tracing the Gospel stories of Christ from infancy through ministry in Judea and Galilee and even to death and resurrection, each chapter identifies a lesson to be gleaned from Jesus' life. Practical wisdom about facing temptation, exploring leadership, choosing friends, dealing with women, and handling money also yields spiritual insight for raising a young boy into a Christlike man.
What's in Your Hand?
You've heard the saying, "When God guides, He provides." This message points out the truth of that statement. Walk with Sharon through the stories of five Bible characters as she illuminates how God helped them use what they had to work for Him. Leave this session knowing that you too can use what God has given you. (45-60 minutes)
It seems like you've been in church your whole life. Frankly, you're tired of the same old grind. You know the people, you know the sermon examples, and you know the songs. This Christian thing has become routine. Based upon Ephesians 4, this particular teaching is bound to wake you up and possibly step on your toes, yet provoke you to live your highest life for our Master on high. (1-4 hours)
Excuses, Excuses, Excuses
It's great wanting God to you use ... until He actually calls you into service. Then it's an entirely different matter. Find out how much like Moses you are as Sharon explores his (and your) excuses for avoiding the work God has clearly called you to do. Come away encouraged to finish what God has started in you. (45-60 minutes)
What? Teenagers in the Bible?
Even though your teen years may be full of craziness and confusion, there's one thing you can count on - God is not surprised by any of it. These years are not an accident, they're an opportunity. You're extraordinary in God's eyes just as you are, and to prove that, He even included teens like you in His Book, the Bible. "What? Teenagers in the Bible?" recounts the stories of 14 kids who had some pretty crazy and confusing things happen in their lives too. Let these teens tell you about how they made it, kept their sanity intact, and came out better and even closer to God. But watch out! Their stories will challenge you to look within yourself. You'll identify with some stuff, but you may see some things you won't like. Get ready to face the issues they faced. You'll find out just how much you are like (or unlike) the Bible's teens, and you'll discover that God is interested in you - even while you are a teenager.

Session 2: Building Your Personal Prayer Box
“Pray for me.” What do you do when someone makes this request of you? How do you remember and find the time to pray for that friend, plus everything else of importance for which you must pray? This hands-on session will answer those questions. Leave this time having prayed through all your concerns and with your own personalized prayer box that will go with you through the upcoming years.
Session 3: But I Don’t Feel Like a Prayer Warrior
Many of us feel powerless in the face of the daunting problems of our world and this life.
