"Let me tell you what I did: I asked the experts -- the kids who have to sit in classes all day long. I posed the question, 'What SHOULD and SHOULDN'T teachers do in the classroom?' I got so tired of hearing students complain of BORING classes, of rude teachers, and of stupid things done in the name of teaching. I knew I had to get them to write it all down: their thoughts, suggestions, experiences, and hurts. And their joys! I wanted it all. I also had them throw in a story that had impacted their lives that involved a teacher." ~ Becky
