Bringing Hope for the Hunger of the Heart

Delightful. Captivating. Dynamic. Powerful.

"Since becoming a speaker for Stonecroft Ministries, Catherine Boyle has given her personal testimony on many occasions to a variety of audiences. The response to her open, honest presentation has been many women seeing themselves in her story, and they, too, have given their broken lives to God. Catherine is a beautiful, young Christian wife and mother who has taken the tragic turns of her life and used them to bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ. She has great appeal to the young woman who may be caught up  in society’s idea of beauty; however, Catherine offers them a convincing alternative to this flawed image. She explains in simple, clear language how to be in Christ and have all things made new." ~ Maye Jepson, Stonecroft Ministries

"Everyone who attended our event enjoyed hearing about Northfield Ministries and Catherine’s story of how she beat her personal issues.  I think I speak for everyone when I say I would recommend Catherine’s services to anyone interested in a good speaker for whatever function they may have." ~ David Hunt, Hopewell, VA

Catherine Boyle's Bio

Catherine Boyle fills many roles: professional speaker, Chief Operating Officer for Northfield Ministries, author, Bible teacher, wife and mom. But the center of Catherine’s life is a once-starving soul who is now well-fed by God. She weaves her past struggles with eating disorder and craving for love with much humor and meaty insights from God’s Word. Transparent and real, Catherine’s powerful teaching and testimony resonates with her audiences. Catherine brings hope for hungry hearts, challenging readers and audiences to look at God’s Word in a fresh, new way.

Catherine authored Hungry Souls: What the Bible Says About Eating Disorder, featured on “The Harvest Show” and “The Herman and Sharron Bailey Show.” Catherine is also a contributing author to several other books.

Popular Speaking Topics

From Survive to Thrive

Whether the greatest joy or deepest grief, every change causes stress.  We barely survive, hanging on by our fingernails, or we learn to thrive in spite of our circumstances.  With powerful insights into Biblical women who thrived ~ and those who didn’t ~ Catherine weaves together truths from scripture and application from the lives of modern women.  Honest and compelling, Catherine couples teaching with her own mistakes and do-overs to equip the audience with the spiritual tools needed to thrive, rather than merely survive, their lives.  (Geared for adult audiences of all ages).

Eating disorder is everywhere.  Why are anorexia, bulimia and overeating so prevalent in our culture?  After her own experience with anorexia and bulimia, finding no satisfactory answers in psychology or science, God led Catherine on a quest to find answers in His Word.  Why did she have these struggles?  Did she contribute to her own eating disorder?  Does God’s Word say anything directly about eating disorder?  Is eating disorder a modern phenomenon or did it occur in biblical times?  Catherine found the answers to these questions and many more, including the biblical process to successfully walk away from eating disorder.  (Great for older teens, parents, and adult audiences.  Can be packaged as a weekend intensive or retreat topic).

What God Meant for Good (Catherine’s Testimony)

Catherine speaks frankly about the spiritual hunger in her young life: hunger to be beautiful, hunger to be rich, hunger to be loved by the perfect man. Yet the path the world offered didn’t satisfy that hunger; instead, Catherine found herself in the middle of a years-long struggle with eating disorder and the sexually promiscuous lifestyle so often expected of young women. But one day, God grabbed hold of the shattered pieces of Catherine’s heart and satisfied her hunger. Ultimately, God redeemed even the years of her eating disorder via Catherine’s work launching Northfield Ministries, a non-profit residential and care ministry helping young women struggling with eating disorders.  Weaving together meaty scripture and plentiful humor, Catherine reveals how God redeems our sins and even the rotten things done to us to create a beautiful tapestry of blessings for others. (Great topic for youth, teens, and young women)

Run to Win

The apostle Paul used a variety of sports metaphors to help believers grasp the truth and passion of the Christian life.  Whether or not you’re an athlete, we’re all in a race, to a person, a place and a prize.  A lifelong runner, Catherine teaches scriptural insights into why God commands that Christians run, how we prepare and compete, and what we get for all this work, both here and in the hereafter.  (Works well for youth programs, young adults groups or retreats)
